Barcelona 7/9
This city, although still quite crowded with tourists,
is a wonderful place to visit. Beautiful, clean, tree-lined streets, great architecture and cafes with
delicious food are in abundance. Another ‘must return someday’ city.

Another cruise ship berthing. |
 |
Some of the famous architecture is an acquired taste. |
 |
The extraordinary Sagrada Familia. Unfortunately, having not bought an entry ticket on-line, I would have had to queue for over two hours to get in. Next time. |
 |
The queue stretching around three sides of the block. |
Marseille 7/9
This port didn’t particularly grab me. It was ok but as far as seedy, Mediterranean seaports go, I much preferred Naples.
 |
Marseilles has the largest yacht basin I've seen. |
 |
Notre Dame cathedral. |
